Milbank Circularity Center

About the project

The Milbank Circularity Center in Milbank, South Dakota, includes two new anaerobic digesters on Mill Valley Farm in Grant County. The biogas generated by this manure is captured, cleaned, and converted into renewable natural gas. The Milbank Circularity Center is part of the third tranche of projects developed under the Brightmark RNG Holdings LLC joint venture with Chevron U.S.A. Inc.

GHG REDUCTIONS

This project reduces emissions by an average of over 23,000 tons of CO2eq annually. That is equivalent to planting more than 28,000 acres of forest per year.

RESOURCE RECOVERY

The process of recovering and processing manure from the farms prevents excess emissions from escaping into the local air and water.
Renewable Natural Gas icon

WASTE TO NEW PRODUCTS

The center generates renewable natural gas annually. Other renewable products generated by the project include fertilizer.
